Facebook as a gift

In october, Microsoft have bought a minimal part of Facebook. The invest  represents 240 millions of dollars for only 1,6% of the social network estimated to 15 billions of dollars.

Microsoft reinforces its partnership with Facebook, because the company sold the online advertisements which appeared on the Facebook pages in US. This partnership allows Microsoft a worldly visibility ; 60% of the Facebook users don't lived in US.

Google was an outsider during the negotiations. This partnership between Microsoft and Facebook relaunches the online advertising battle.
