A wiki is Content Management System which permits the open pages creation and modification by users. The wiki makes easier the collaborative writing of documents. Ward Cunnigham (photo) developped the first wiki for a website about programmation titled "WikiWikiWeb". The term Wiki signified "fast" in Hawaian language.Wikis now are associated to Web 2.0 because they purpose a high involvment of the user. Anyone can rewrite or modify the articles of everyone and the wikis provide a easy method for linking from one page to another. The user efforts to develop the community knowledge make the wiki good. However, it depends on the lack of vandalism.
